Saw about a dozen wild turkeys on the property this weekend. Now that would be a locally grown, organic Thanksgiving dinner!!!!!

Members of Wolf Creek Lodge have formed a vibrant community while planning the project with Chuck and Katie. We now see the lodge under construction as our plans are fulfilled.

October’s biggest excitement occurred on the day the construction crew began pouring the concrete top of the parking garage (the podium), which is also the floor of the first floor units on the McKnigtht side of Wolf Creek Lodge Cohousing.

Five of us, Bernice, Claire, Jo, Magdalene and Virginia, enjoyed an outstanding production of Mozart’s Don Giovanni at the local movie theatre. This is a new treat for Grass Valley.

There is lots of fun things to do in Grass Valley and neighboring towns.

For myself, it is really a new phase as I have sold my home in the San Francisco Bay Area, and I’m looking forward to moving into Wolf Creek Lodge this coming summer.

Bob and Claire invited other Wolf Creek Lodge folks to join them on a hike near Donner Pass – only an hour’s drive from Grass Valley.  However, a heavier than anticipated snow fall turned the hike into a snowshoe trip. Remember if it’s raining in Grass Valley it may be snowing on the summit. We […]
