On Thursday, April 28, 6 pm Nevada City Architect Katie McCamant and members of Wolf Creek Lodge will be will host an presentation in Truckee about on cohousing in general and Wolf Creek Lodge specifically. Members of the Lodge will talk about their individual experiences and why they’ve decided to downsize and move to this walkable, sustainably-built neighborhood.

Wolf Creek Lodge in Grass Valley is the result of a group of  pro-active adults creating their own caring and supportive cohousing neighborhood with a dynamic balance of private homes and community living. The project has just started construction, but there are already 21 member households, ranging in age from 55 to 87,  involved in creating the 30-unit community.

For more detailed information on Wolf Creek Lodge, visit their website at http://www.wolfcreeklodge.org.   The April 28th event is free but space is limited, so call 530-478-1970 or email info@cohousingpartners.com to reserve a space.
