Wolf Creek Lodge in Grass Valley is the result of a group of pro-active adults creating their own caring and supportive cohousing neighborhood with a dynamic balance of private homes and community living. The project has just started construction, but there are already 21 member households, ranging in age from 55 to 87, involved in creating the 30-unit community.
On Monday, May 16 7 pm Nevada City Architect Katie McCamant and members of Wolf Creek Lodge will be will host an presentation in San Rafael about cohousing in general and Wolf Creek Lodge specifically. Members of the Lodge will talk about their individual experiences and why they’ve decided to downsize and move to this walkable, sustainably-built neighborhood.
