Last Saturday was the community’s monthly construction site visit. Here you can see them attentively studying the forming of the concrete walls of the parking garage. Notice the view from the future Wolf Creek Lodge Cohousing terrace in the background. And don’t those hardhats looks stylist!

By noon today, the crew had poured our first real building foundation concrete for Wolf Creek Lodge Cohousing–the footings for the columns and walls of the concrete, underground garage. With the addition of four new households (4!), construction moving again, and members picking options, the Lodge is starting to feel very real!

They were digging the footing and elevator pit in the lower garage level today. Pretty clean job, don’t you think? Great to see so much activity on site.

On Thurs, May 19th, the sun was shining and the tractors started to move. The contractor should be pouring the concrete. Move-in now looks like July, 12.

The sun has come out and the tractors are moving on the property again!

Site visit 11:00 am on Saturday. Ken Gregory with Gray Construction will be there to explain the plan moving forward with the grading and foundation.

I paid a visit to the construction site this past Friday and saw that all the plastic had been removed from the future Lodge. I was informed that the chance of rain for the weekend was low and they were preparing to do some real work this coming week.
